Money and Finances
- Recognise coins and the $1 and $2 dollar amounts.
- Represent a money amount in more than one way (25¢ = two dimes and a nickel, or a quarter).
- Add small amounts and figure out simple totals when buying two items.
Being able to show the same amount with different coins is real problem solving — and it helps when paying and getting change.
