Data Literacy
- Collect data and display it in many-to-one pictographs and bar graphs (one symbol stands for several).
- Read and interpret graphs to answer questions and draw conclusions.
- Find the mode and median of a set of data and describe what is typical.
The median (the middle value in order) and the mode (the most common value) each tell you something different about a data set.
