Equations and Inequalities
- Solve equations with an unknown on one side, such as 7 × n = 63.
- Apply the order of operations (brackets, then × and ÷, then + and −).
- Use inequalities to describe a range of possible values.
Order of operations is a shared agreement so that everyone reads 2 + 3 × 4 the same way (14, not 20).
