Data Literacy
- Collect data and display it in scaled graphs, including broken-line graphs that show change over time.
- Calculate the mean, median, and mode, and describe what each measure of centre tells you.
- Interpret graphs to make and justify conclusions.
The mean can be pulled by one very large or small value; the median often better represents a "typical" amount.
