Data Literacy
- Collect and display data in histograms and other appropriate graphs.
- Calculate the mean, median, mode, and range, and choose the measure that best describes the data.
- Interpret graphs critically, including how a chosen scale can mislead.
The range (largest minus smallest) shows how spread out data is, which the average alone cannot reveal.
