Electricity and Electrical Devices
Electricity is a form of energy carried by charged particles.
- Static electricity is a build-up of charge; current electricity flows through a path.
- A circuit is a complete loop that lets current flow; a switch opens or closes it.
- Conductors (metals) let current pass; insulators (plastic, rubber) block it.
A circuit only works when the loop is complete — a break anywhere stops the flow.
